TREEHOUSE AT THE FOLLY

On July 5th, Treehouse played Shepherdstown's annual Independence weekend gathering at the Folly, just outside of Shepherdstown. Treehouse also served as the band for Al Thomas' play, Devestated Heros and the White Goddess, performed after their set.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS COMMUNITY PICNIC AT MORGAN'S GROVE

On July 4th, Treehouse played the Shepherdstown Rotary Club annual 4th of July community picnic at Morgan's Grove park.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS EARLY CINCO DE MAYO PARTY AT THE MECKLENBERG INN

On May 3rd, Treehouse played an early cinco de mayo party at the Mecklenberg Inn in downtown Shepherdstown.

 

TERRY AND ARDYTH PLAY PEACEFEST II

December 2nd, Terry & Ardyth played Peacefest II in Shepherdstown, WV. Peacefest is a 'Community Gathering In the Spirit of St. Francis'. It is people of various spiritual traditions coming together to sing and pray for the earth, sea and sky and all the dwell therein. This year's line-up featured Singin' the Bones, Todd Coyle, Steve Warner, Greg Lloyd, Terry Tucker, Ardyth Gilberston, Eric Avey and Ben Proudman. Plus: a Cam Miller original soundscape meditation AND four movements choreographed by Kitty Clark portraying a mythic tale of redemption.

 

THE MARCH OF CELTIC PARLIMENT

The Celtic Parliment, John Doyle, Jim Steptoe and Terry Tucker, are ramping back up to play a bunch of gigs while Treehouse works on their new album. Check out the schedule to see where they are playing next.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS BLUE MOON CONCERT SERIES

May 27th, Treehouse played the Blue Moon Cafe in Shepherdstown, WV, as part of their Sunday Concert Series. The band played two sets of music to a very welcoming crowd.

 

 

TREEHOUSE BEGINS NEW ALBUM

Treehouse has begun work on a new album that promises to capture all the favors that make up the Treehouse sound. The album will feature songs by all members of the band and include a healthy mix of original tunes and unique covers. Stay tuned for more details!

 

TERRY TUCKER AND JOHN DOYLE BID AVANTI'S FAREWELL

Terry Tucker and John Doyle of The Celtic Parliment played a farewell concert at Avanti's on May 19th, the last night the Italian Restuarant and music club in Charles Town, WV, was officially open.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS THE STRASBURG THEATER AGAIN FOR CINCO DE MAYO

May 5th, Treehouse was back at the Strasburg Theater in Strasburg, Virginia, for a special Cinco De Mayo show. The band played 3 full sets of music, packed with lots of Latino numbers and some good dancing from owner Panos.

 

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS THE STRASBURG THEATER

TERRY AND ARDYTH RELEASE CHRISTMAS CD & PLAY SEVERAL HOLIDAY SHOWS

TERRY TUCKER PLAYS THE FREDERICKSBURG SONGWRITER'S SHOWCASE

Terry recently played the Fredericksburg Songwriter's Showcase, held at the Picker's Supply Concert Hall in Fredericksburg, VA. Terry was one of three featured songwriters that played. The other songwriters were Dean Fields and Steve Quelet.

 

TERRY TUCKER PLAYS WITH THE CELTIC PARLIMENT

Terry has played several gigs over the past several months with The Celtic Parliment, a collaboration of John Doyle, Jim Steptoe, and Terry Tucker. They sing songs from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and other parts of the world with Celtic traditions. July 1st they were at the Hilltop House in Harpers Ferry, WV, and July 22nd, August 11th, and August 25th they played at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD. TERRY & ARDYTH AND TREEHOUSE AT THE FOLLY FOR TIMBER FRAMERS WEEKEND

Terry & Ardyth played Friday July 7th and Treehouse played Saturday July 8th at this year's Timber Framers Weekend, an annual event held in July.

 

TREEHOUSE FEATURED AT SHEPHERDSTOWN STREET FEST

Treehouse was one of the featured bands at this year's Shepherdstown Street Fest, held June 24th in Shepherdstown. They played from 5:30 to 6:30pm. Other bands included: The Speakeasy Boys and Love Machine. For more information, visit: http://shepherdstownstreetfest.org/.

 

TREEHOUSE FEATURED AT WINE & ARTS FESTIVAL

Treehouse was one of the featured artists at this year's Wine & Arts Festival in Martinsburg, WV. The two day festival, helded May 27th & 28th, featured wine, art, and local musicians. Treehouse was the last band on Sunday. Other bands included: David LaFleur, South Mountain String Band, Singin' the Bones, Don Oehser & The Vibrators, Ed & Eldred, and The Outpatients. TERRY AND ARDYTH PERFORM AT THE MECKLENBURG INN ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY

This St. Patrick's Day (March 17th, 2006), Terry Tucker and Ardyth Gilbertson performed at the Mecklenberg Inn in Shepherdstown, WV, along with several other artists as part of "The Muses of the Mecklenberg" - an event featuring local female artists from around Shepherdstown. Terry and Ardyth performed several solo numbers. Other artists included: Lisa Lafferty, Andrew Barlow, Natalia Cummings, Laura First, Susan Spangler, and Kathleen McLaughlin.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS AVANTI'S WITH THE TODD COYLE ALL-STAR GARAGE BAND

March 11th, Treehouse and the Todd Coyle's All-Star Garage Band performed at Avanti's in Charles Town, WV. Treehouse played a long set to open things up and the All-Star Garage Band finished out the evening. Look for Treehouse to play at Avanti's again!

 

TERRY TUCKER PLAYS SOLO SHOWS IN FEBRUARY

This February (2006), Terry Tucker continued her recent string of solo performances by playing the Westside Cafe in Frederick, MD, on the 23rd and Jumpin' Java in Charles Town, WV, on the 12th and 25th. This past December (2005), she debuted at the Westside Cafe in Frederick and at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD. That month she also played with The Celtic Parliament, John Doyle & Jim Steptoe. Look for more solo performances by Terry this spring!

 

BENEFIT CONCERT FOR RANDY CROSS A SUCCESS!

On January 21st (2006), Treehouse played a benefit concert at the Shepherdstown Train Station with a whole gang of musicians, including the Donny Baker Band, Olivia Maxwell & Friends, Greg Lloyd, Lisa Lafferty and Cam Millar, the Rolling Coyotes, David LaFleur, Phil Montgomery, Allegheny Uprising, Ed & Eldred, Jesse Boyd from Too Many Chiefs, The Agency, Don Oehser & Band, and the Todd Coyle All-Star Garage Band. The event, organized and coordinated almostly entirely by Terry Tucker, was to honor Randy Cross, a local resident who for more than 8 years has been producing a monthly listing of what's happening musically around Shepherdstown. Randy did this service for free, on his own time and funded it entirely out of his own pocket. The concert was a way to honor him for all his efforts over the years. There was a great turn out and a over $1,000 was raised, all which was given to Randy to thank him.

 

TREEHOUSE PLAYS HOLIDAY BENEFIT PARTY FOR THE SHENANDOAH WOMEN'S SHELTER

On December 17th (2005), Treehouse played a holiday party at the Shepherdstown Train Station in Shepherdstown, WV, in which all the proceeds went to the Shenandoah Women's Shelter. There was a great turn out and a joyous time was had by all. The benefit raised over $500.

 

TERRY TUCKER PERFORMS WITH THE CELTIC PARLIAMENT AND SOLO

Terry Tucker performed several shows in the month of December (2005) with The Celtic Parliament, John Doyle & Jim Steptoe, and on her own. December 2nd and 10th, Terry played with The Celtic Parliament at the Armory Pub in Harpers Ferry, WV; December 16th and 30th, Terry played at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD; and December 18th, Terry played at The Westside Cafe in Frederick, MD. Look for Terry to play more shows with The Celtic Parliament as well as more solo shows this next year!

 

 

TERRY TUCKER AND TREEHOUSE PLAY SHOWCASES AT THE NEWSONG FESTIVAL

Terry Tucker was one of the featured artists and Treehouse was one of the featured bands at this year's NewSong Festival. The festival was held in Shepherdstown, WV, and featured national performaning artists, up-and-coming regional and local acts, new groups and singer/songwriters, workshops, classes, songwriters contests, open-mics, and more. TERRY TUCKER AT ROLLING RIDGE

July 2nd (2005), Terry Tucker performed at the Rolling Ridge Music Fest, located at the Rolling Ridge Study Retreat Community in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside Charles Town, WV. TREEHOUSE PLAYS TONY'S & JAMMIN' CRAB

Treehouse debuted at Tony's (Stonewall's) in downtown Shepherdstown on June 9th (2005) and the Jammin' Crab Cafe in Kearneysville on June 16th (2005). Both shows were exciting and full of energy. Look for Treehouse to play these venues again!

 

TERRY TUCKER PLAYS THE YANKAUER NATURE PRESERVE

April 16th (2005), Terry Tucker performed at the Wildflower Festival at the Yankauer Nature Preserve, just outside of Shepherdstown. Terry performed solo with guitar and autoharp as part of a festival featuring wildflower walks, storytelling, dance, art, refreshments, and more. TREEHOUSE ROCKED THE MECKLENBERG INN, AGAIN!

TREEHOUSE ROCKS THE MECKLENBERG INN

On December 18th (2004), the Saturday before Christmas, Treehouse performed at the Mecklenberg Inn in downtown Shepherdstown. It was another rocking show that had everyone up dancing by the end of the night.

 

TREEHOUSE BACK AT THE OPERA HOUSE

On Saturday October 23rd (2004), Treehouse performed at the Shepherdstown Opera House (downtown Shepherdstown). This was the band's second time to play at the Opera House; their first was for the venue's 'Open House' event in August (see below). Click HERE to see the photos from the show.

 

TREEHOUSE FEATURED AT THE OPERA HOUSE & AT THE PEACE AND UNITY GATHERING

On Saturday August 21st (2004), Treehouse performed at the Shepherdstown Opera House for their 'Open House' event. This free event offered people the opportunity to check out the newly remodeled Opera House that now features live music. Treehouse headlined the entertainment that night. On Saturday August 28th (2004), Treehouse performed at the Peace and Unity Gathering on the Muma Farm at Antietam Battlefield, Sharpsburg, MD. This all-day festival featured lots of local musicians, including Treehouse, The Todd Coyle Trio, Free Wheelin', Jenny Avila and Stephen Wright, Contemporary Vibe, and Allegheny Uprising.

TREEHOUSE PLAYS FREDERICK COUNTY FAIR

On Friday July 30th (2004), Treehouse performed at the Frederick County Fair in Winchester, Virginia. They played two full sets of music on the South Lawn stage during a beautiful sunset.

TREEHOUSE PLAYS AT THE ROLLING RIDGE MUSIC FESTIVAL & INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT THE FOLLY

On Saturday (afternoon) July 3rd (2004), Treehouse performed at the 1st Annual Rolling Ridge Music Festival, which took place on the Rolling Ridge Property located in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside Charles Town, WV. On Saturday (evening) July 3rd (2004), Treehouse performed at the Independence Day Celebration at the Folly, just outside of Shepherdstown. It was another great celebration with food, music, launching of the famous trebuchet, and, of course, fireworks. Other acts included Jesse Boyd's band, Too Many Chiefs (who just had their CD release party at the Folly the weekend before), and Todd Coyle's new "garage" band.

 

TREEHOUSE CD "COMIN' HOME" RELEASED!

The new CD, "Comin' Home", includes 12 original songs written by Terry Tucker and features several guest musicians. TREEHOUSE CD RELEASE PARTY SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 25TH

On Sunday April 25th (2004), Treehouse hosted a CD Release party to celebrate the release of their new album "Comin' Home". The party was held at the Shepherdstown Train Station, Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The band played two full sets of music with appearances by several guest musicians.
